This 18th Century Hotel which is set amidst the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District between the villages of Windermere and Ambleside nestles in the quiet village of Troutbeck Bridge. You will find The Sun Hotel easily accessible on the A591 and plenty of parking is provided by the private car park at the side of the hotel. It is ideal for all types of breaks including short weekend breaks or for use as a base for walking, fishing. golfing, mountain biking or any adventure holiday. This hotel has access to a shared private beach on the waters edge of lake Windermere (1/2 mile away) with fishing permits and boat launching facilities. Impeccable service and comfort is provided. The staff are warm friendly and attentive. The food is sourced locally and lovingly prepared for your enjoyment. This is a non smoking hotel. Smoking is only permitted outside the building
