If you have a sweet tooth you must sample some of this. It was even taken to the summit of Mount Everest in 1953 to keep the climbers going and is still used by walkers today as a source of energy.

Made from 100% natural, local ingredients this is a treat not to be missed. They even supply to Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.

Hawkshead Relish Company

In the past the company has won Speciality Producer of the Year and are renowned for their locally produced sauces and relishes, including their Cumberland Sauce and Hawkshead Relish.

The 1657 Chocolate House

Built in the 1630's the house was originally a private dwelling, later converted to a bakery. Today the restaurant sells a range of delicious chocolate drinks, gateauxs and... chocolates, of course. A treat not to be missed.
